  2. Installing Silverlining Lite

  4. This section explains how to copy Silverlining Lite, VirtualDisk, DiskDup Pro, and EasyLabels files from the La Cie software diskette to your hard disk. 
  5.  
  6. To install Silverlining Lite:
  7. 1.     Start up from your primary drive.
  8. 2.    Remove all copies of Silver Volumes and Silver Control (if present) from the System Folder of your startup drive before installing Silverlining Lite.
  9. Silverlining Lite replaces Silver Volumes and Silver Control so these two files are no longer needed.
  10. 3.     Copy the Silverlining Lite icon from the Silverlining Lite folder on the new hard drive or La Cie diskette to the System Folder icon of the startup drive. 
  11. For System 7 users, the Silverlining Lite icon will be placed in the Controls Panel folder automatically.
  12. 4.    Restart the Macintosh.
